Idris Elba tells Capital’s Evening Show he and Liam Gallagher are cool

Idris Elba has revealed that he and Liam Gallagher have put their past issues behind them and are on good terms.
Speaking on The Capital Evening Show last night, Idris told Sonny Jay, who was sitting in for Jimmy Hill, that he thinks everyone should go and watch Oasis.
When asked about a past incident between them, Idris said: “Me and Liam are cool.” Sonny Jay asked, “Are you?” and Idris replied, “Yeah, we had a moment.”
Sonny then asked if he plans to see the band now that they are back together. Idris replied: “Yeah man, I think everyone should go and see Oasis. You know why? Because they’re a big part, it’s like going to see Rolling Stones or the Beatles, like a big part of British culture.”
Idris was on the show to talk about Heads of State, an action comedy in which he stars alongside John Cena and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
Heads of State follows a mismatched duo forced to work together to save the world and is streaming on Amazon Prime from this week.
During the interview, Idris also discussed his love for DJing, saying he continues to balance acting with music and that performing live still excites him, as he reveals in the video below.
