Ashley Roberts gets head stuck in Easter egg on Heart Breakfast
Not the kind of headline you read every day, but it’s true, this morning on Heart Breakfast Ashley Roberts caused mayhem when she popped an Easter egg on her head!
The show descended into chaos when Ashley managed to get her head stuck inside the giant egg and Amanda Holden rushed her to aid.
Needless to say, Ashley ended up with melting chocolate all down her neck and back!
It all started when show hosts Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston were talking on air about Easter and the fact that it’s later this year.
“According to experts, it is this weekend – the weekend – that we start actually buying easter eggs,” Amanda told Jamie.
They continued talking about the type of Easter eggs each of them prefers and then introduced Naomi, an egg expert, on air. Amanda asked what kind of expert she is.
“So, I work for a chocolate cooking brand called Cocoba Chocolate, and we are based down in Kent in Rochester, and we have set ourselves the task of making quite large eggs this year,” Naomi responded.
Jamie wanted to know how large they are, and Naomi told him: “Well, it’s actually a four kilogramme easter egg. So, it’s 52 centimetres. Naturally, guys, we’ve actually sent something into the studio, so it should be with you. That’s your special breakfast sorted, Amanda!”
It was at this point that things started to go downhill as, for some reason, Ashley decided to put the egg over her head and it got stuck, causing Amanda having to assist and chocolate running down Ashley’s neck.
