KISS FM DJ Omah Howard joins rival Capital XTRA

Capital XTRA has signed DJ and presenter Omah Howard from KISS where he hosted weekend shows.

Omah joins to take the reins of the Capital XTRA Evening Show, Mondays – Thursdays from 7pm – 10pm, starting Monday 5th September.

The rising star, who also works as a continuity announcer for BBC Three, recently covered the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games alongside being one of the pioneer presenters at The Hundred last summer.

Omah Howard said: “WOW, Capital XTRA you know! It’s mad because ever since I was a little kid I’ve been a huge fan of the station. The music is representative of my experience and culture and it’s a space where I can authentically be myself and connect to the listeners. Being creative with music and rapping myself growing up… it’s a dream come true to be showing love to the homegrown talent.”
