Zara Larsson has revealed Avatar is her favourite film and said she would love to soundtrack the next movie.
The Swedish pop star made the admission while appearing on Capital Buzz, where she played the game What The Deck? and was asked which film she could quote from beginning to end.
Zara said Avatar was the movie she knew the most lines from because she had watched it so many times, although she also suggested the blockbuster was missing some truly iconic one liners.
She said: “I would absolutely do the soundtrack to the next movie. That would be an honour because I’m such a big fan of the world.”
Zara also explained how watching Avatar has influenced the way she thinks about the natural world, saying the film makes her appreciate Earth and the environment around her.
“If you go outside and go into the nature like what beautiful creatures we have on this planet, and the plants, and the animals, and the water and the sky,” she said.
The singer added that people should connect more with nature, encouraging them to get away from urban surroundings and spend more time outdoors.
Zara said: “We just have to connect more to that and get out of the concrete jungle and walk barefoot.”
Her comments come as Avatar continues to hold a special place for the singer, who described herself as a huge fan of the world created for the film series.
For Zara, the possibility of contributing music to a future Avatar film would combine her love of the movies with her own career in music.
