Heart Breakfast’s Jamie Theakston, Amanda Holden and Ashley Roberts have marked the start of the World Cup by getting into the spirit ahead of England’s opening match.
With England set to face Croatia in their first group-stage fixture, the Heart Breakfast team showed their support live on air by donning international football shirts as excitement builds for the tournament.
Jamie and Amanda led the England backing, proudly wearing the latest Three Lions kit as they prepared for the opening clash.
Amanda wore the England home shirt, while Jamie opted for a goalkeeper kit in a playful nod to his past involvement with Soccer Aid.
Ashley joined in the World Cup build-up by representing the United States in their home strip, showing support for one of the tournament’s host nations alongside Canada and Mexico.
With anticipation building ahead of kick-off, the team used the occasion to bring a sense of fun and rivalry to the studio, reflecting the global excitement surrounding the tournament.
