Radio 2 in the Park in Stirling new dates confirmed by BBC

Friday 11th to Sunday 13th September are the dates for your diary if you want to attend Radio 2 in the Park, which is in Stirling this year.

The event, originally scheduled for August, has been moved to September following a decision by BBC Radio 2 to reschedule after discussions with local stakeholders, including the Scottish Independent Festival Association, about the impact on other events in the area.

Starting on Friday 11th September with a party at the Radio 2 DJ stage, where Radio 2 presenters will be playing some of their favourite tunes, ahead of a weekend of live performances and DJ sets.

Helen Thomas, Head of Radio 2 says: “I’m delighted to be able to confirm the dates of Radio 2 in the Park in Stirling for September.  Our line-up remains as star studded as ever and we look forward to announcing which of your favourite artists will be performing in Stirling in the coming weeks.”

Vernon Kay says: “The date is locked in the diary and Stirling, we are coming for you! Scotland always brings such an amazing atmosphere and one of the best crowds anywhere, so I’ve no doubt this one’s going to be an absolute belter!”

All of the weekend’s live performances will be broadcast on Radio 2 and BBC Sounds, as well as iPlayer.
