Rag ‘N’ Bone Man to perform for BBC Radio 2’s Piano Room
Rag ‘N’ Bone Man, will perform alongside the BBC Concert Orchestra at the BBC Maida Vale studios for Radio 2’s Piano Room.
Vernon Kay announced on his show this morning that Radio 2’s Piano Room returns for an autumn run and the three-time BRIT Award winner will be the first of the performers on Thursday 17 October.
On Vernon’s show, he’ll play one of his previous hits, a new single and a classic cover, with the performance also available to hear on BBC Sounds and watch on BBC iPlayer.
Rag ‘N’ Bone Man burst onto the music scene in 2016 with his single, Human. His debut album of the same name went platinum four times over in the UK and went multi-platinum in a further twenty-seven countries, becoming the fastest-selling male debut album of the decade.
His second album, Life By Misadventure, debuted at No.1 and spent seven weeks in the Top 10, making it the fastest-selling album by a solo artist in 2021, and his third album is out next month.
Speaking about his upcoming Piano Room appearance, Rag ‘N’ Bone Man said: “I am excited to be the next artist performing in the Radio 2 Piano Room. Me and the band will be joining the BBC Concert Orchestra to bring you three special tracks on Thursday 17 October.”
