Radio’s Sam Thompson, Nigel Farage and Marvin Humes for I’m a Celebrity
This year’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here includes three personalities who have experience as radio presenters.
Marvin Humes spent time at Capital and is a former host of The Official Big Top 40 chart show across UK commercial radio stations. He’s also known for being a member of boy band JLS.
Ex- politician Nigel Farage was a weekday host on LBC for three years but left the station suddenly in June 2020. He is now a regular presenter on GB News (Radio).
Made in Chealsea star, Sam Thompson, hosts the evening show on Hits Radio. He spoke with fellow presenters, Fluer East and James Barr on the station’s Breakfast Show to share his thoughts on how he feels about it.
When Fleur asked what he was most looking forward to Sam revealed: “Probably making best friends, I want to make really good pals, be on the Whats App group! And Cyclone! Because I feel like once you’ve hit that you’ve done the experience.”
He added that he’s under no illusion he’s going to win but he feels incredibly lucky to be doing something like this.
“I never thought I’d be given the opportunity to do it and I am a little bit nervous so be gentle with me,” he said.
