Boy George has jungle advice for Sam Thompson and reveals best moment

Boy George had some “jungle” advice for Hits Radio’s Sam Thompson and revealed his own best moment when he popped in for a chat with Ken Bruce on Greatest Hits Radio.

Sam is in Australia to be a part of this year’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, which begins on ITV tomorrow evening.

Boy George told Ken: “You go in thinking you can handle anything, but it takes you out of every possible comfort zone. Food is the one thing that agitates everyone!”

His advice was to breathe, stay calm and get involved in everything. He added that the tasks are the fun bit because all the sitting around in camp is very boring.

“When you go out to do a task it’s kind of invigorating,” he told Ken. “I actually really enjoyed the tasks because my boredom threshold is very low! Get involved, don’t argue with people, don’t say too much – don’t do all the things that I did! Ignore what I did,” he joked.

Ken also asked George what his favourite bit about the jungle was, to which he immediately responded: “Leaving!”
