First acts for this year’s Magic of Christmas revealed

The first acts to appear at the Magic of Christmas which returns to The London Palladium this year on Saturday 25 November, have been named.

Magic Radio’s event always kicks off the festive season with live music and performances from artists to get everyone into the Christmas spirit.

Taking to the Palladium stage this year will be Emeli Sandé who is releasing her fifth album, How Were We To Know, in November.

Pop legend Rick Astley, fresh from his Glastonbury performance on the Pyramid Stage, will appear ahead of the start of his UK headline tour which sees him play arenas across the UK throughout 2024.

Also on the line-up are soul legends Simply Red, who have clocked up sixty million album sales worldwide and 1.8 billion streams.

Texas, who recently announced a 2024 arena tour following the recent release of greatest hits album Texas: The Very Best Of 1989-2023, will also perform at the Magic of Christmas.

More acts and hosts are still to be announced on Magic Radio Breakfast with Ronan Keating and Harriet Scott in due course.

Speaking about the event, Magic Radio’s Harriet Scott said: “Is it really that time of year again already?! Magic of Christmas is such an incredible event that really kick starts the festive season.

“Our listeners have already been telling us how much they are looking forward to it. I can’t wait to reveal all the other acts joining our already stellar line-up. First though, I’m off to taste test the mince pies! I’m so looking forward to Magic Radio bringing all the Christmas feels to The London Palladium.”
