Heart Breakfast finds and talks to VIRAL Glastonbury couple
This morning, Jamie and Amanda found and exclusively talked to the viral couple who got engaged at Glastonbury festival over the weekend.
Stanley and Leva got engaged as Elton John sang Tiny Dancer with The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers.
In the Facetime conversation with Jamie and Amanda, Stanley admitted he was going to propose during Lizzo’s performance of ‘Juice’ but realised after speaking to his mum “it wasn’t the most appropriate song to propose to”.
He revealed his mum watched the proposal live on TV and says it was “emotional times” and we’re “chuffed to bits”.
Amanda asked if he was nervous carrying the ring around with him at the festival and Jamie added that they say you shouldn’t carry valuables with you.
Stanley answered that he was nervous and also said he “handed out” pieces of paper with his “contact details on so people around me could record it and send it over to us”.
He added: “Then the massive camera came, picked us out. So, they obviously caught on to what was going on.”
The couple were seen on TV in homes across the country, which caused the proposal to go viral and a hunt to find out who they were. Well done to Heart on tracking them down and congratulations to Stanley and Leva!
