Absolute Radio to host Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds Bournemouth gig

Absolute Radio is the station hosting Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds at a special gig at O2 Academy Bournemouth next month.
The news came on Dave Berry’s Breakfast Show when it was revealed that tickets will be available to buy from this Friday morning.
Taking place on Monday 31 July, it will be a chance to see Noel and the band perform songs from latest album, Council Skies, in a much more intimate setting than their outdoor shows this summer and upcoming arena tour.
Absolute Radio’s Dave Berry said: “You’ve seen him in an arena, you’ve seen him in a field but what an opportunity to see Noel up close and in person this summer. Absolute Radio knows how to put on a show and this one will be no exception.”
Tickets go on sale at 9am this Friday, 30 June on the Absolute Radio website.
The whole event will be recorded and broadcast later this year as part of Absolute Radio’s 15th birthday celebrations.
