Bill Nighy returns to presenting role on BBC Radio 6 Music

After sitting in on Guy Garvey’s Finest Hour in November, Bill Nighy is returning to BBC Radio 6 Music to cover the Elbow lead singer’s show once again.

Bafta and Golden Globe winning actor Bill is a massive music fan, with a record collection spanning RnB, hip-hop, pop, jazz, rock, soul and more. He’ll hand-pick tracks from this collection when he sits in on Guy’s show for the second time.

Last time, Bill’s choices ranged from Aretha Franklin to Anderson Paak via Nick Cave, Lou Reed and Mary J Blige.

Bill says: “I was excited to be asked to sit in for Guy Garvey the first time but to be asked back is a serious upgrade. I’m honoured and keen and will endeavour to find more crazy rhythms to make Sunday sway a little.”
