Bill Nighy to make his BBC Radio 6 Music presenting debut

The Bafta and Golden Globe winning actor will sit in on Guy Garvey’s Finest Hour this Sunday.

Bill has become one of the treasures of British cinema, having played roles in Love Actually, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Shaun of the Dead and his latest highly praised film Living.

Having played a DJ in Richard Curtis’s film The Boat That Rocked, it’s not the first time he’s had a go at spinning the discs, but now he’s getting to do it for real!

He’s probably also the first 6 Music presenter to have won a Tony on Broadway!

Bill says: “It’s my pleasure to be sitting in for Guy Garvey. I hope to find some hip rhythm & blues to make Sunday swing.”

You can hear Bill sitting in on Guy Garvey’s Finest Hour this Sunday, 27 November 2-4pm.
