Jayne Middlemiss to host weekday afternoons on Virgin Radio

Radio and TV presenter, Jayne Middlemiss is the new host of weekday afternoons on Virgin Radio.

Jayne began her career presenting music TV shows such as Top of the Pops and has previously presented on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 6 Music. She has also won both Celebrity Masterchef and Celebrity Love Island.

She previously presented weekend breakfast on Virgin Radio and her new weekday 1-4pm show on Monday 24 October.

Jayne Middlemiss comments: “I am thrilled to be joining the Virgin Radio daytime family. To work alongside people I have listened to and admired for years is an honour and a joy.

“Music and talking are two things I love. To work at such a vibrant creative station doing those things is a dream come true. It feels like an exciting new chapter and I’m finally coming home. I cannot wait.”

Virgin Radio UK Content Director Mike Cass said: “We’re thrilled to have Jayne moving to weekdays, she’s a natural talent and is wonderfully engaging. She’s the perfect addition to the workday and with Bam in his new home of evenings, this is a great team for Autumn 2022.”

 1am – Sean Goldsmith

4am – James Merrit

6:30am – The Chris Evans Breakfast Show with Sky

10am – Eddy Temple-Morris

1pm – Jayne Middlemiss

4pm – Steve Denyer

7pm – Bam (Friday – Ben Jones)

10pm – Amy Voce (Friday – Rich Williams)
