Mel C addresses Spice Girls Glastonbury rumours on Heart Breakfast

Mel C was a guest on Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden this morning when she was asked about the Spice Girls headlining Glastonbury 2023.

Recent reports in the press have suggested that all of the girls, including Victoria Beckham, are keen to perform a set at Worthy Farm next year and that talks were ongoing.

Amanda asked Mel head on if the rumours are true?

“Oh I wish! There’s no plans at the moment but you know what, let’s all collectively, everyone that wants to see this happen, let’s all think about this now.”

Amanda joked that they should try to manifest it.”

Mel answered that she felt like Uri Geller and added: “Yeah let’s make this happen, let’s manifest Spice Girls at Glasto.”

It’s not clear where the rumours came from, but Mel has previously said there were no plans for the girls to appear at Glastonbury when she was interviewed by Angellica Bell at a Radiocentre event earlier this month. Mel confirmed they’ve never been asked despite the many rumours.
