Rylan to miss his Radio 2 show again after being rushed to hospital

Rylan Clarke has been rushed to hospital forcing him to miss his BBC Radio 2 Saturday show again this week.

Posting on Twitter, the presenter shared a picture from his hospital bed with a cannula in his arm. He commented with the snap: “Finally home after an extended trip to Costa del hospital. Slowly on the mend. Won’t be on the wireless tomorrow. Resting up. Be back soon.”

This was followed with another tweet from Ryan joking: “Picture for ULTIMATE sympathy obvs.”

He made no mention of what had happened, but fans were quick to reply, wishing all the best for a speedy recovery.

Last Saturday Gary Davies covered for Rylan when he was forced to miss his show after telling fans he’d come down with flu but had done a lateral flow test which was negative.

Tomorrow afternoon OJ Borg will sit in for Rylan on Radio 2 from 3pm.
