New Joe Wicks Radio 4 podcast comes to BBC Sounds

Joe Wicks has a new Radio 4 podcast for BBC Sounds where he speaks to inspiring people to find out about their relationship with health and wellbeing.

Each week a well-known guest will discuss their own connection between mental and physical health, its relationship to their personal success and the things they’ve been doing for some ‘me-time.’

Joe will discover how they pick up their mood and energy, how they stay physically and mentally active, and how they’ve been balancing work and family life. In each episode guests will share their wellbeing methods and ask Joe to give them a go.

Guests lined-up include fellow podcast host Fearne Cotton, TV chef Gordon Ramsay, Kim Kardashian’s body trainer Melissa Alcantara, American ultramarathon runner and author Robin Arzon, legendary broadcaster Louis Theroux, actor and presenter David Harewood, former Buddhist monk and co-founder of Headspace Andy Puddicombe, comedian and writer Russell Brand and musician James Bay; with more guests to be announced.

Expect a few laughs and be motivated to get up and get active. Joe will demonstrate that there are many ways to do that and have fun from the comfort of your own living room, balcony or garden.

Joe said: “Having my very own podcast where I can speak to the people I have always been interested in has always been a dream of mine. I can’t wait for listeners to learn about my guest’s secrets to personal wellbeing with some laughs and interesting life chats along the way.”

Episode 1 of Radio 4’s The Joe Wicks Podcast is available on BBC Sounds from Monday 13 July.
