Shortlist for The Global Awards 2019 is released
The Global Awards 2019 which will honour the best-loved stars of music, news and entertainment has released the shortlist of contenders to vote for.
DJ and producer Mark Ronson, RnB singer Mabel, Little Mix, pianist Lang Lang, Blossoms and Anne-Marie are all confirmed to perform at the Global Awards on March 7th at London’s Eventim Apollo Hammersmith.
The event brings together Global’s radio stations including Capital, Heart, Classic FM, Smooth, Radio X, Capital XTRA, Gold and LBC to celebrate music, news and entertainment.
Categories include Best Group, Best Song, Rising Star Award, Social Media Superstar, Best RnB Hip Hop & Grime and Best Classical Artist.
Among those shortlisted for an award are, Take That, Little Mix, Maroon 5, Artic Monkeys, Rak-Su, Halsey, Ella Mai, Drake, Nicola Benedetti and Sheku Kanneh-Mason. The Best Song shortlist includes Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes and Lady Gaga.
