French singer Vincent Niclo to host new series interviewing French artists on BBC Radio 2

French classical pop singer Vincent Niclo will present a new series on BBC Radio 2 this autumn featuring exclusive interviews with a range of iconic French artists.

Entitled ‘Carte Blanche’, the 7-part series will provide a rare insight into the lives and musical loves of designer Jean Paul Gaultier, movie star, fashion icon and animal rights activist Brigitte Bardot, jazz pianist and 3-time Oscar winner Michel Legrand and singer and actor Jane Birkin.

Vincent says: “I’m very excited to be back on Radio 2 interviewing some of the most incredible French artists. These are artists I’ve looked up to my whole life, who have enjoyed truly fascinating careers, and it was an honour to have the opportunity to speak to them in such depth about all aspects of their lives.”
