Love Sport Radio is allowing fans to take over the station on Friday 3rd August to celebrate the launch of the new football season.

For 12 consecutive hours the station will host club fan shows with fans, club journalists and ex-players all taking part. The fans are from club podcasts such as Fulhamish, Achtung Millwall, Beesotted and Last Word on Spurs.

In addition, every evening from Sunday to Friday from 7-10pm there are club shows hosted throughout the season. Ex-players such as John Salako, Andy Sinton, Paul Konchesky, Luther Blissett, Richard Lee and Paul Mortimer will be joining the shows.

For the takeover day ESPN.co.uk will be providing some journalists and there will be crossover promotion too.

Kurt Edwards, Commercial Director for the station told RadioToday: “Our fans have incredible passion and a huge depth knowledge of their clubs and they love nothing more than coming on the station to have a lively debate.
