East London and West Essex station Time 107.5 has moved to a new quarter of a million pounds studio complex.
The station is now based in Romford town centre, inside the Liberty Shopping Centre.
Time 107.5 first launched back in 1998 as Active FM, and has been airing as Time 107.5 fm since 2005.
Shoppers will now be able to see presenters live on air through the window to the new studios.
Station manager Lorna Waters tells RadioToday: “We are very excited to be making such a prestigious move into state of the art new studios with brand new equipment. But more importantly – we will now be even more accessible to the local community and people can pop by and see the people they listen to everyday.”
Time 107.5’s sister station, Time 106.6 in Slough, Maidenhead & Windsor, was closed down last month due to a problem with its transmitter site.
