Jon Gaunt gets daily show on FUBAR Radio

A new schedule for subscription-only station FUBAR Radio puts Jon Gaunt on a daily show.
He’ll be live each weekday (plus Saturday) 10am till 1pm uncensored and unregulated, not to dissimilar to his former stint on SunTalk – a live online stream by The Sun newspaper.
The station says “Fans will be able to listen to Jon’s straight talking take on the day’s current affairs, as well as lively debate with elite topical guests and journalists.”
Jon has worked in radio most of his life, starting at BBC Coventry and Warwickshire and working his way up to talkSPORT.
The rest of the schedule sees Mark Dolan 1-4pm, joined by Katie Price on a Tuesday, Justin Lee Collins 4-7pm and comedy programming after 7pm.
Justin began hosting a radio show on XFM in 2003, initially on Sundays at 1 to 3am, later progressing to Saturday afternoons from 3 to 6pm. He left in December 2005 and returned to host the Saturday 2 to 6pm slot during April 2011. He’s since covered on BBC Radio 2.
FUBAR Radio CEO Duncan Smith said: “FUBAR strives to create programming that can’t be heard anywhere else on UK radio. This new line up underlines our mission statement to deliver engaging content. In the run up to an election year, Fubar are excited to announce the addition of Jon Gaunt to the weekday schedule in a programme that will follow news and current affairs and feature callers that can truly speak their mind. Continuing to provide entertainment & news throughout the afternoon will be Fubar staples Mark Dolan and Justin Lee Collins. While comedy programming remains a key offering of the Fubar brand and will be enjoyed from the peak time of 7pm-1am weekday evenings.”
