Hugh Evans, live on BBC Radio 2 talking about appearing in a new BBC drama A Very English Scandal, was forced to say sorry for swearing during an interview with Chris Evans on the breakfast show at BBC Radio 2.

He was impersonating actor Anthony Hopkins when he said Oh Bollocks. Chris told him he couldn’t say that on the radio, so Hugh went on to say ‘Oh sorry shit’ which made the situation worse.

Chris and Hugh then apologised to all the mums on the run – the school run – before continuing with the interview.
